A Little Piece of El Salvador in Houston
Tucked along Mangum Road in northwest Houston, Nuevo Renacer De Aylin is the kind of place regulars keep to themselves — until they can't resist telling everyone. Aylin's family has been feeding the neighborhood with recipes brought straight from El Salvador, cooked the way they always have been.
Everything here is made by hand: the masa patted fresh, the curtido fermented just right, the salsas bright and balanced. You'll find comforting plates, generous portions, and a dining room that feels more like somebody's kitchen than a restaurant. That's exactly the point.
